| Orion separates the collected oil by contamination level. That way, it is possible to choose the best available technique for the destruction of the oil. Oil with low or average PCB contamination will be processed by incineration at incineration plants specialised in hazardous waste.
Energy produced in this process will be used to generate electric power and heat. From heavily contaminated PCB oil will the chloride be recovered. This chloride will be used as base material for new products.Orion works in cooperation with West European incinerators of hazardous waste which use the best environmental techniques to protect the environment. |
